CTET Syllabus  Detailed Syllabus and exam structure for 2021-

 

CTET exam 2021: CTET Exam is the eligibility test conducted in two phases - Paper I and Paper II for teacher's posts. Paper, I will be conducted for the candidates who aspire to become teachers for Class I to V and Paper II is conducted for candidates who aspire to become teachers for Class VI to VIII.

 Eligibility Criteria for CTET Exam 2021

To be eligible for appearing in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, you must meet the following minimum requirements.

  1. Primary Stage: Minimum Eligibility for Becoming Teacher for Classes I to V:
  2. Candidates must have done Senior Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks (at least) and passed or appearing in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (2-year)
  3. Or, must have done Senior Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks (at least) and passed or appearing in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (2-year), in accordance with the NCTE Recognition Norms and Procedure, Regulations, 2002.
  4. Or, candidates must have done Senior Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks (at least) and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years)
  5. Or, must have done Senior Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks (at least) and passed or appearing in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education)
  6. Or, the exam takers should have graduated with a minimum of 50% marks and B. Ed (1 year).
  7. Elementary Stage: Minimum Eligibility for Becoming Teacher for Classes VI to VIII:
  8. The candidates should have completed graduation. Anyone studying in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education is also eligible for appearing in the upcoming CTET exam 2020.
  9. Or, candidates should have completed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks. Anyone studying in Bachelor in Education (or passed) is also eligible for appearing in CTET 2020.
  10. Or, must have done graduation with 45% marks and passed or appearing in B. Ed (1-year), in accordance with the NCTE Recognition Norms and Procedure, Regulations.
  11. Or, candidates must have done Senior Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks (at least) and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years)
  12. Or, should have done Senior Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks (at least) and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed or B.A./B.Sc.Ed.
  13. Or, the exam takers should have graduated with a minimum of 50% marks and B. Ed (1 year).
  14. Or, candidates, who have qualified B.Ed Programme recognized by the NCTE, can also appear in the CTET/ TET exam. Besides, anyone pursuing a teacher education course (as per the TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11th February 2011) recognized by the RCI or the NCTE, can submit the application form for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.
