About NDA exam
The NDA exam or the National Defence Academy exam is an entrance exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission of India for admission into the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force as officers. The exam is conducted twice a year and is open to both male and female candidates who have completed their 10+2 education.

NDA exam 2024 details
The NDA exam 2024 is a highly competitive examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for candidates who wish to join the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy (INA) as an officer. The exam is conducted twice a year, usually in April and September.
The NDA exam consists of two papers - Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The Mathematics paper carries a weightage of 300 marks, while the GAT paper carries a weightage of 600 marks. The exam duration is two and a half hours for each paper.
Candidates who clear the written examination are then called for the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview, which is a five-day process that includes various tests and assessments. The final selection of candidates is based on their performance in the written examination and the SSB interview.
